Scindapsus is another hardy vine in the Aroid family and is often mistaken for philodendron or pothos. Their deep green leaves often feel thicker and firmer than their cousins, and are characterized by white or silver variegation appearing in a number of patterns. Their care is similar to philodendron and pothos, enjoying strong to low indirect light, and receiving a moderate watering when almost but not totally dry. They tend to be able to tolerate slightly higher light conditions than other aroid vines, but can also be a little slower in their growth.
