Poinsettia

Poinsettia plants are the iconic, traditional holiday plants native to Mexico. These beauties are remarkably hardy and can be kept long after the holiday season will ample light and little water. 

Contrary to popular belief, poinsettias are not deadly to pets and children! They do contain a latex sap, which if eaten can cause nausea or irritation, like all other members of the euphorbia family.
