Licuala Grandis Palm

Broad, fan-shaped, pleated leaves define this palm varietal, native to islands off the coast of Australia. 

A rare shade-loving palm, this plant does best in bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun will scorch the leaves! 

Water when the top 2-3" of soil is dry and watch out for the sharp, serrated edges of the leaves, as well as the thorny stems! 

Due to the nature of this palm's fronds it is highly reccomended to wipe it down with a damp towel at least once a week.
