Botanical Watercolor Workshop @ Ballston Quarter - 11am on August 16th
Ready to unplug, slow down, and appreciate nature? Join us for an introductory botanical watercolor workshop at Rewild Ballston Quarter!
Guided by local artist and teacher, Mia Coutinho, PhD, attendees will be lead through this hands-on workshop where you'll learn foundational watercolor techniques (color mixing and brushwork) to make beautiful nature-inspired art in a relaxing and encouraging environment. Come join us, put down the screen and pick up some new skills! Leave with your own completed botanical piece on professional paper, plus the confidence to keep growing your artistic hobby at home.
All premium art supplies (paper, paints, brushes) are provided. No prior painting experience required!
Note: This workshop is distinct from the intro to Watercolor Florals workshop that Mia hosted in June. There will be new lessons, so if you came to last one, feel free to learn more here!
Workshop Cancellation Policy: If you are unable to attend the workshop after purchasing a ticket, you may receive a refund if you request one 48 hours in advance of the event date and time. Please email us at hello@rewilddc.com to let us know.
